So, why RX?
The RX range comprises three Compacts of 300, 600 and 1200Ws, two Powerpacks, 1200 and 2400Ws and three Ranger Battery packs, all rated at 1100Ws (actually almost 1200). The Ranger weighs in from just 6Kg. The whole RX system is fully compatible and is coordinated and controlled with the Elinchrom Skyport System. Skyport not only gives reliable radio triggering, but also controls the power and switches the modelling of all the
RX units directly from the Transmitter, which slides onto the hot shoe of your camera. Add the Skyport USB adapter and download the free software from www.Elinchrom.com and you can control up to 64 RX units from your computer! In addition to this, the remote system offers many additional features, including sequential firing, second curtain sync etc. Once you have a set-up you are happy with, you can even store it as a favourite!
The Fastest!
RX also offers the very fastest flash durations and recycling times, and with a 7 f-stop range it has become the Rental houses favourite unit, for heavy, fast use.
