The ProLupe™ uses a dual element achromatic, fully coated glass lens system with 5.5x magnification capable of viewing an entire frame at one time.

It is adjustable over 8 diopters allowing precise focus for any eye with or without glasses.

The eyepiece has a protective rubber bumper to prevent scratching your glasses.

The frosted, cast acrylic, machined bas is designed so as to protect any surface it rests on.

The body is machined black Delrin and the light shield machined, black anodized aluminum with a triple start helix to adjust the position for use.The shield will stay wherever it is placed, controlling the amount of light admitted precisely.  It cannot be lost.  It can be adjusted for full side light, continuously reducible to noe for viewing back lighted slides or the ground glass screen of a view camera.

The lens cell is black anodized, machined aluminum with a triple start focusing helix.
